Boonsak Ponsana, triumphed at the 2012 Li-Ning Singapore Open Super Series badminton championship in the final by crushing Chinese shuttler Wang Zhengming 21-18 and 21-19. Boonsak  who defeated Indonesian hopeful Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka in the tournament’s quarterfinals in three sets.
In the Women singles second seeded and world No. 6, Juliane Schenk, faced difficulties in the second set before taking home the women’s singles title by beating fourth seeded Cheng Shao Chieh of Taiwan with 21-11 and 26-24.
And in the Mens doubles Markis Kido and Hendra Setiawan  beat South Korean pair Ko Sung Hyun and Yoo Yeon Seong in three dramatic sets.
