After beating Saina in the semifinal Yesterday , Wang Shixian stepped in as the favourite's for the title. But for the Rising badminton star Ratchanok  Intanon it was  her second heartbreak in little more than a week when she lost to Wang Shixian of China in the final of the $125,000 Swiss Open Grand Prix Gold  in Basel on Sunday.
Ratchanok came up short in her second successive final, but the teen sensation was set down in consecutive sets by her experienced  Chinese opponent 21-16, 21-12.Earlier on Saturday  fourth seeded Shixian halted Saina's journey to a consecutive third final by winning the match 21-11, 10-21, 21-9 in 50 minutes denying the Indian to celebrate her 23rd birthday Sunday with the title.
In the Men Singles  another Chinese Wang Zhengming was on  top of the world  after winning the Swiss Open Title . The 23-year-old shuttler overcame his compatriot Du Pengyu to claim his first international title since the World Juniors in 2008. Wang Zhengming  started in an attacking manner ,moved ahead with a lead  11-5 at the first break, while Du was struggling to gather his rhythm,
